Once again an excellent, show. Web sites should be design by the people who will use them, not some suit who doesn’t have a clue. That 30boxes look good, I may try it out.
Nice work guys, but isn't it a bit too easy picking on Yahoo! calendar. Everyone knows it sucks, even the Yahoo guys I reckon The other calendars you've link have problems too, maybe you could address them?
Wow, an interesting podcast, that's rare
Good show, but the audio was really quiet for me, I turned my headphones up full to hear it, then the end music blowed my ears off. I hope that wasn't intentional
I followed your link to 30Boxes, it works pretty well, maybe I'll let go of my old fashioned paper calendar.
Thanks for the link guys, good show.
Good show lads! Loved the content ... the only problem was with the Audio, it was very very low in terms of level and the stereo was backwards!
Third time lucky when it comes to the technicalities? Oh ... is there an RSS feed for just the podcast?
an RSS feed for JUST the podcast?
You've stopped reading the rest of my blog? Here it is, I posted this link in the first episode. http://feeds.feedburner.com/Destraynor-UsabilityReviews
LOL ... no ... I haven't stopped reading the rest of your blog
It would just be nice to link to the podcast separately!
Brilliant! This is a MUST see for anyone who designs software or web apps. I loved the Bugzilla clip from the last episode, having tried to submit something to Bugzilla( I gave up in frustration part way along the process).

Thanks for the feedback Warren,
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Des
"Luckily there are no swear words this time."
I have no clue how you managed to accomplish that when going through the Yahoo! Calendar scenario. While watching, "I JUST WANT TO SET A F***ING APPOINTMENT!" kept screaming in my head. It was almost painful. (Ditto on the audio - very quiet even at full volume.) But very entertaining!
For those complaining about sound volume, that's something I'll redo when I can spare some time (V BUSY DOOED). Should be redone this week.
Bart, the stereo in the video is a little wide, but definitely not reversed. I think your headphones / speakers were the wrong way around.
Oops ... so they are! Who would have thought the powerbutton and the adjusters would be on the left speaker instead of the right!

Des Traynor talks about interfaces on this podcast and hit the nail on the head. You need a plan, a grand vision of things before writing software. Or at least know what tasks you want your users to accomplish. So let me tell you what happened while I ...
