Maybe I'm doing things really badly but I tend to just make simlinks to the alternatives.
ln -s ~/public_html/serendipity ~/public_html/blog Am I being stupid or is that also an acceptable way of doing things?
Well it works, but it does leave you with an extra symbolic folder in your public_html directory. Also, I think my approach scales better, in that if you had to do 4 or 5 redirects symlinks would get unmanageable.
Whats nice about this is all your redirects are in one place. |
